Ines Vieira is a college basketball guard for the Utah Utes Women's basketball team as of January 2025. She wears no. 2 jersey for the team and is in her senior year, as of January 2025. Ines, who has majored in Pre-Business, previously played for Quinta Lombos. While she was in high school, she played basketball and gained international playing experience. The player had opportunities to play for the Portugal National Team and Quinta Lombos in the Liga Feminina in Portugal. She featured in the U16 Women’s European Championship in 2018 and 2019 and led Portugal to a silver medal finish at the 2019 European Championships as a captain of the side. Ines averaged 8.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 2019. Additionally, she recorded a tournament-high 25 points while playing against Ireland.

Ines averaged 4.6 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 2018 in addition to recording 10 points as the team played against Estonia. She also recorded 18.9 minutes, 4.1 points, 2.6 assists and 1.5 steals for Quinta Lombos in 2020-21 on the way to leading her side to a third-place finish in the Liga Feminina at 16-6. Ines kicked off her club career with CAB Madeira and moved to Lisbon when she was just 13 years old. Following her move, she began her basketball training at the Portuguese Basketball Federation Training Center with the U16 Portugal National Team. As a freshman for the Utah Utes, Ines appeared in 33 games and started four of them. The player averaged 15.8 minutes, 4.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. The following season, as a sophomore, Ines appeared in 32 games and started 14 of those. She averaged 17.4 minutes, 2.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.96 assists per game. As a junior in the 2023-24 season, she was named All-Pac-12 Defensive Team as well as an All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention. This season, Ines recorded a career-high 20 points against Eastern Kentucky.
