Isaiah Evans is a guard/forward for the Duke Blue Devils and plays as a freshman in the 2024-2025 season. Evans hails from Fayetteville, North Carolina, and attended North Mecklenburg High School. He was notable in the 2024 state playoffs, averaging 31.3 points per game and scoring 188 points in six games. He scored 23 points and eight rebounds in the state championship game against New Hanover. Evans made history by scoring 62 points in a 2023 state playoff game, breaking the previous record held by Chris Paul. He was the North Carolina Mr. Basketball and 2022-23 MaxPreps N.C. Player of the Year. Evans also won the 1-on-1 competition at the 2024 Iverson Classic and was a member of the USA Men's Nike Hoop Summit team.
