Izzy Higginbottom plays college basketball for the Arkansas Razorbacks women's basketball in the South Eastern Conference (SEC). Izzy Higginbottom is in her senior year and plays as a guard, as of February 2025. Izzy started her career with the Missouri Tigers in 2021 and left the team after her freshman year. She joined the Arkansas State Red Wolves for her sophomore and junior seasons and joined the Arkansas Razorbacks as a senior at the beginning of the 2024-25 season.

Izzy had a historic junior season with the Red Wolves and was selected to the 2023 All-Sun Belt First Team. She led the conference with 192 free throw attempts, which was seventh in the NCAA, and with 175 free throws made, which was second in the country during the regular season. After her second season with the Red Wolves, she was named to the All-Sun Belt Second Team and Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year.

Izzy was listed by ESPNW as the 20th-best point guard and by Prospect Nation as the 97th-best recruit overall. In addition to leading Batesville High School to the 2019 Class 4A State Championship and a state semifinal appearance in 2020, she was named to the 4A All-State and 4A All-State Tournament in 2019 and 2020. During Batesville's run for the state championship, she was voted Tournament MVP.
