Regarded as one of the best and most improved players in the NBA, Jalen Green is a professional basketball player who plays as a shooting guard for the Houston Rockets in the NBA. With a staggering height of 6’4”, a wingspan of 6’7.5”, and a standing reach of 8’5”, he is a force to reckon with because of his elite athleticism and exceptional scoring abilities. He is known to score shots from all three levels of the court.

From high school, where he was the number one shooting guard in the class of 2020, he is known for his quickness on the court. He helped his team reach the CIF Central Section Division II final and the CIF Division II quarterfinal as a freshman and earned Central Section Rookie of the Year. He started from where he left as a freshman and helped his team win the Central Section Division II title twice as a sophomore and as a junior for which he received MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year. He was awarded the USA Today All-USA California Player of the Year.

Green moved to Prolific Prep for his senior year and helped his team win the Grind Session World Championship. He was named to the MaxPrep All-American first team and won Sports Illustrated All-American Player of the Year. He was a consensus five-star recruit and a top recruit of his class by ESPN. Green joined the NBA G League from 2020 to 2021 before announcing himself for the 2021 NBA Draft.

Green was the second overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft. Even after missing 14 games in his rookie season due to a hamstring injury, he still managed to be selected to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. He has been the only player to score 30+ points in five consecutive games since 1997 and is only the fourth-youngest player in NBA history to score 40+ points five times before turning 22. He also participated in a Slam Dunk contest and finished third.

He has played 143 games in his career, started all of them and has an impressive game time of 33.1 minutes per game. He scored 19.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.3 blocks per game. Green represented the United States at the 2017 FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship and helped them win gold. He helped the United States to win the 2018 FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup and the 2019 FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup. He was named MVP of the 2018 FIBA Under-17 Basketball World Cup for his performance.
