Jeff Mittie is the head coach for the Kansas State Wildcats women’s basketball team. Mittie has over 30 years of coaching experience. He began his coaching career as head coach at Missouri Western State University in 1992 and coached until 1995, where Mittie had a 76-17 record and took the team to three NCAA Tournament appearances. From 1995 to 1999, he was the coach at Arkansas State where his record was 75-42, and also won the 1998 WNIT Championship. In 1999, Mittie transferred to Texas Christian University where he served for 15 years, winning the most games with a 303-176 record. During his tenure, Mittie led TCU to 12 post-season appearances and nine qualifications for the NCAA Tournament. In 2014, he was appointed as the head coach for the Kansas State Wildcats, and since then Mittie has won over 190 games.

Jeff Mittie had a remarkable coaching career with a record of 644-370. In his nine years at Kansas State, Mittie guided the Wildcats to a 190-135 record, making eight postseason appearances, and five NCAA Tournament qualifications. He helped players such as Ayoka Lee win two-time AP All-American and the Big 12 Freshman of the Year recognition. Mittie guided several Kansas State players to the All-Big 12 team, the Academic All-Big 12 team, and the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-Americans team. He registered four seasons with over 20 wins and led six of his players to the Big 12 All-Defensive Team at Kansas State. Mittie gained head coaching experiences at Missouri Western, Arkansas State, and TCU, winning nine league championships in four different conferences. He also won five Conference Coach of the Year awards and made it to the 2024 Naismith Women's Coach of the Year Late Season List.
