After leaving the Morehead State Eagles, Broome was recognized in the 2022–2023 season by being selected to the USBWA All-District IV Team and the All-SEC Second Team. He participated in 33 games during the season and was named to the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award Watch List.
