He averaged 13.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 15 games in the Nike EYBL. Additionally, he shot 47 per cent from the floor, including 39 per cent from three-point range. The youngster led his side to a 30-1 record, making his side a 5-A state runner-up while he was a sophomore. Mobley, a four-star recruit following the end of his high school career, received offers from teams like Arizona State, Creighton, LSU, Ohio State, USC and Xavier. Mobley began his college basketball career with the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2024 where he recorded four for four from three and scored 14 points in his debut game against Texas.
