Kiyan Anthony and Bryce James are two of the most sought-after high school basketball talents. While their talents are enough to draw eyes to their games, their NBA connection pits their following to another level. They are the sons of NBA stars Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James, who are also close friends beyond the confines of the hardwood.

As the two 17-year-olds head toward college, let's look at their NIL stocks and projected earnings.

Kiyan Anthony vs. Bryce James' NIL deals and collaborations

Kiyan Anthony has been the biggest star kid to make strides this summer. It began with his 40-point game in the EYBL Peach Jam week, followed by multiple AAU runs across New York and Virginia.

According to On3, Anthony’s NIL valuation sits at $726k as of Sept. 20. He's the second-highest NIL earner in the high school basketball circuit and 86th in the top 100, having seen a $104k (17%) rise in the second week of the month.

Anthony’s basketball ventures saw him touch a 1.3 million followers mark across Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.

Meanwhile, Bryce James dominates the high-school landscape with a NIL valuation of $1.3 million. He has the top high school basketball stock and is ranked 17th in the top 100 list.

James has been a regular at the EYBL circuit and has a reputation for putting promising numbers against tough matchups. Moreover, he was also one of the 100 hoopers across the nation who earned an invite to the Mamba Invitational League in August.

Bryce James has a massive following of 3.4 million through Instagram, Twitter and TikTok, ranked ninth among the top 100 high school and NCAA athletes. His 2.1 million followers on Instagram are more than Kiyan Anthony's combined audience.

Kiyan Anthony says Bryce James doesn't get enough attention

In his interview with Sloan on the "SloaneKnows: NEXT" podcast, Kiyan Anthony was asked to name an underrated player from the high school landscape.

The idea was to name someone who doesn't get enough media eyes, attention from college coaches and offers from programs. Without any hesitation, Anthony named James.

“Bryce James. I feel like he could get a little bit more recognition when it comes to offers and stuff,” Anthony said.
“Because him being who he is, people think everything is given to him, but he actually works hard, and I feel like he deserves a little bit more when it comes to that type of stuff. So I would say Bryce.”

Anthony’s arguments stand tall as James, despite having the top NIL valuation amongs high school athletes, has only received offers from two schools, Ohio State Buckeyes and Duquesne Dukes.
