Kon Knueppel is a guard/forward for the Duke Blue Devils and plays as a freshman in the 2024-2025 season. Knueppel hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School. During the 2024-2025 season, he made it to the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year list and the Top 20 Preseason Watch List. Knueppel was the team's leading scorer in two games, registering 22 points against Maine on November 4 and 15 points against Army West Point on November 8. He recorded five rebounds in back-to-back games against Kentucky on November 12 and Wofford on November 16, including four assists. Knueppel was notable against No. 17 team Arizona on November 22, shooting two three-pointers and extending his three-pointer streak. Knueppel recorded his career-high eight assists against Kansas on November 26. He also scored a season-high 25 points against Miami on January 14, from nine field goals and six three-pointers. On January 27 against NC State, Knueppel helped the defense with three steals which was his career-high figure.

Kon Knueppel had a remarkable high school career at Wisconsin Lutheran High School. He was a five-star recruit and was ranked as the No. 16 player in the country by 247Sports. He was also ranked as the No. 22 player in the country by ESPN. 247Sports ranked him as the No. 6 forward while ESPN ranked him as the No. 1 in Wisconsin, and the No. 5 shooting guard. He was awarded the 2023-2024 Wisconsin Mr. Basketball recognition and was also voted as Wisconsin Associated Press Player of the Year. During his senior season, he recorded 25.9 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game, shooting 59.4% from the field, 39.5% from the three-pointer range, and 84.9% from the free throw line. Knueppel guided Wisconsin Lutheran to an unbeaten 30-0 record with a state championship, registering 11 points, 11 assists, and five rebounds in the championship game. He also topped the Nike EYBL league with an average of 22.5 points per game.
