Kyle Smith, born on June 26, 1969, is one of the top American college basketball coaches who led Washington State to back-to-back NIT appearances. Last season, he led the Cougars to the NCAA tournament appearance and was credited with the 2024 Pac-12 Coach of the Year honor. However, following the conclusion of the 2023-24 regular season, Smith transferred to Stanford as the new head coach of the men’s basketball program.
