LeBron James' agent Rich Paul owns Klutch Sports Group, which represents various athletes from the NBA, NFL and college sports. Paul has been in this business since 2012 and has added many big names to his group.
Duke commit Khaman Maluach has become the latest addition to the Klutch Sports Group, the group announced Tuesday. The announcement was reposted by Paul on his Instagram story where he welcomed the young talent from Basketball Africa League.
"Welcome Khaman Maluach," Klutch Sports wrote.
Maluach became the sixth college basketball player to be represented by Klutch Sports Group. Other than him, they also represent Justin Edwards, Nolan Hickman, Bronny James, Jackson Shelstad and JuJu Watkins.
Malauch, 7-foot-2, is a versatile player and can score from multiple positions. He received offers from big programs like Kansas, Kentucky, Baylor and UCLA. Eligible for the 2025 NBA draft after reclassifying in 2023, he averaged 18.2 points per game for the Uganda City Oilers in the Basketball Africa League last season.
Maluach was also a part of NBA Academy Africa and has been ranked as the third-best prospect for the 2025 NBA draft by ESPN.
In an interview with ESPN, Malauch talked about the reason which made him realize he was ready for the next step.
"I think I am ready to play at that level," Maluach said. "I've played against some of the top guys in 2024 and 2024, and against pros in the FIBA World Cup. Playing against guys who are stronger and more experienced helped me realize where I stand and what I need to work on."
Maluach was a part of the South Sudan national team in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup. He led his team to victory against China as the third-youngest player to appear in a World Cup game. He ultimately led his team to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Jon Scheyer praises his new commit Khaman Maluach
Khaman Maluach committed to the Duke Blue Devils and Jon Scheyer in March.
Scheyer was impressed with his abilities, height and wingspan.
"I am really excited to welcome Khaman Maluach to Duke," Scheyer said. "Joining us from South Sudan and NBA Academy Africa, Khaman brings an incredible perspective and unique talents to our program. At 7-2, Khaman can score inside and out, handle the ball and protect the rim at a high level."
With the addition of this amazing African talent, Scheyer and Duke will look to do better next season after the Elite Eight defeat against NC State in the 2024 March Madness.
