Assistant Coaches
Casey Long joined Matt McMahon at LSU following five years as Murray State's assistant coach, effective with the 2022–2023 season. Long assists with both off-floor recruitment for the Tigers and on-floor coaching, which includes preparing scouting reports for games.
Jalen Courtney-Williams, a former LSU graduate, joined McMahon's team in the summer of 2024. He spent the last three seasons on the coaching staff at Creighton and previously enjoyed spells at McNeese and Mississippi State.
As Tim Kaine remains LSU's chief of staff for men's basketball for the 2024-25 season, he will maintain his longstanding association with head coach Matt McMahon.
