Madison Booker is a collegiate basketball forward for the Texas Longhorns women's basketball team in the SEC. Booker is a sophomore, as of January 2025. She was a starting small forward for Texas in her freshman year but transitioned to the point guard position, following Rori Harmon’s injury. During her high school prep career at Germantown High School, she led the 2021 FIBA Under-16 Women's Americas Championship by averaging 6.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game, as the United States clinched gold in the competition.
Booker helped her nation grab the gold medal with her performance as she averaged 5.6 points, four rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game at the 2022 FIBA Under-17 Women's World Cup in Hungary. She was able to grab another gold medal at the 2023 FIBA Under-19 Women's World Cup in Spain following her performance when she averaged 7.2 points and five rebounds per game. As a freshman, in the 2023-24 season, she was a WBCA All-American, Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year, Big 12 Player of the Year, which made her the first freshman ever to win that honor, Big 12 Freshman of the Year, All-Big 12 First Team unanimous selection, Big 12 Tournament Most Outstanding Player and Associated Press Second Team All-American.
