March Madness is used to refer to all the excitement and action that takes place during the NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament every year. Every year, 68 teams compete for a chance to become the NCAA champion. Only one team is successful in becoming the champion.

Notably the 68 teams of March Madness are all 32 conference champions and 36 wild card teams. Thirty seven schools till so far have managed to win the NCAA men’s basketball championship throughout the years. Out of these the UCLA Bruins have won the NCAA championship the most with 11 times. Other teams also have had their shares of winning the NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament championships. Usually, these teams face each other in a single elimination tournament to reach the finals. The team that is left standing is declared the NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament champion for the year.
