The 2024 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Men's Basketball Tournament will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, from March 19–April 8. In order to select the NCAA Division I men's college basketball national champion for the 2023–24 season, 68 teams will compete in a single-elimination tournament.

A total of 37 different schools have won the competition. UCLA holds the record for most titles won, with 11, and their coach, John Wooden, has the most wins of any coach, with 10.

The University of Kentucky holds eight championships, followed by the University of North Carolina with six, Duke with five, the University of Connecticut with five, Indiana University with five, the University of Kansas with four, and Villanova University with three. Seven universities are tied for two national championships, while 22 teams have won one each.

The 2023–24 March Madness begins in Dayton, Ohio (hosted by the University of Dayton) and proceeds on to dynamic locations such as Brooklyn, New York (Atlantic 10 Conference) and Charlotte, North Carolina (UNC Charlotte).

The excitement continues in Indianapolis, Indiana (IUPUI/Horizon League), Omaha, Nebraska (Creighton University), and others.
