Maxime Raynaud is a forward for the Stanford Cardinal and plays as a senior in the 2024-2025 season. Raynaud hails from Paris, France, and attended Lycee Henri IV High School. During the 2023-2024 season, he received numerous awards including the Most Improved Player of the Year, and was selected in All-Pac-12 second team. Maxine started in 31 games out of 32, scoring an average of 15.5 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. He was ranked as the No. 11th player for scoring and had third-most rebounds in the Pac-12. Raynaud was also placed sixth in field goal percentage with 56.7%. Raynaud recorded 12 double-doubles, the most by a Stanford player since the 2016-2017 season, and scored at least 20 points in 11 games. His career-high performance included 29 points in two games against Arizona and Oregon State. He also registered 17 rebounds against Arizona State.

Before joining Stanford, Raynaud played for Espoirs Nanterre in France. Throughout his pre-career, he registered an average of 12.8 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Raynaud played alongside Victor Wembanyama and played in the Adidas Next Generation Tournament in Valencia. In that tournament, he was ranked as one of the top scorers, rebounders, and blockmakers. Raynaud also played for the French national team and won the gold medal after he led France with the most points during the 2023 FIBA U20 European Championships. Raynaud also earned a silver medal during the 2019 FIBA U16 European Championships. He graduated from the Lycee Henri IV High School in Paris.
