The Mississippi State Bulldogs men's basketball team represents Mississippi State University, based in Starkville, Mississippi. The Bulldogs compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and have appeared in the NCAA Tournament 13 times. Their best finish in the Final Four was in 1996. They have won seven SEC West regular-season championships in 1995, 1996, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2010, and conference tournament titles four times in 1923, 1996, 2002, and 2009.

Chris Jans is the head coach of the Mississippi State Bulldogs for the 2024–2025 season. Chris joined the team back in March 2022 after leading New Mexico State to three NCAA tournaments. During his first year with Mississippi State, he guided the Bulldogs to the NCAA tournament for the first time since the 2019 season.
