Myles Rice plays collegiate basketball as a guard for the Indiana Hoosiers men’s basketball team in the Big Ten Conference. Prior to the Hoosiers, Rice spent three seasons at Washington State. Rice played his senior year career at Sandy Creek high school. Under the leadership of head coach Jon-Michael Nickerson, Rice accumulated 19.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. With these statistics, he took Sandy Creek to a 28-5 overall record. Rice played his junior year at Eastside High School and also played for the Atlanta Celtics in the AAU.
Upon graduating high school, Myles Rice began his collegiate basketball career with the Washington State Cougars in 2021. Rice redshirted his true freshman season and was compelled to take a medical redshirt the following season as he had been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and was undergoing treatment for the same.
Rice received the following honors in the 2023-24 season with the Cougars, 2024 Kyle Macy National Freshman All-America Team, Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, All-Pac-12 First Team, Pac-12 All-Freshman Team, and 7x Pac-12 Freshman of the Week. As of the 2024-25 season, Rice has transferred to the Indiana Hoosiers to continue his basketball career.
