LSU Tigers superstar Flau'jae Johnson has been hitting the trail of her other pursuits, namely fashion and music, hard during the offseason. With a new single with acclaimed rapper Lil Wayne on the way, she headed to France to hobnob with famous personalities at an exclusive event.

The $1.2 million NIL-valued LSU star (per On3) was recently at the 2024 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity where she spoke in various panels discussing her two big passions: basketball and music.

In a panel with Fox Sports host Joy Taylor and the SVP of Global Marketing and Brand Communications Nadia Kooning, Flau'jae Johnson added a third passion of hers to the conversation. Fashion and its intersection with sports.

"I’m the wearing anything like I’m really a huge hoodie and sweatpant type of girl right I love to be comfy, I love to be cool but I’m just getting into more like less like layers like different styles more patterns, more textures more skirts and things like that and I think just expressing myself more. I don’t really care what people think about, I just try to walk it in and own it because at the end of the day, it’s my style," Johnson said.

The popular LSU star revealed where the change in her outlook regarding fashion and her personal style stemmed from.

"I went to New York and it changed my life. I don’t know if you’ve ever been to New York, there are clothes all on the street they are selling it they got all of these rings from New York and SOHO and everybody had their own style and I would look out be like wow I’m actually inspired by that. So it actually has individuality to it that I really really love," Johnson said.

Flau'jae Johnson scaling new heights in rap

Flau'jae Johnson recently performed on the hit show "The Link Up" hosted by producer Hit Boy promoting black upcoming musicians' music by giving them a platform to perform.

She also got a significant nomination in the prestigious “Sportswoman of the Year Award” category at the upcoming 2024 BET Awards. She will be up against established stars like former LSU teammate Angel Reese, A'ja Wilson, Simone Biles, JuJu Watkins, Coco Gauff, Naomi Osaka and Sha'Carri Richardson.

With the departure of former influential Tigers teammate Angel Reese to the WNBA, Flau'jae Johnson will have to find the right balance between her thriving rap career and being the leader of the LSU Tigers on the court.
