College basketball and LSU Tigers star Flau'jae Johnson has combined her love for music and sports in her new extended play, featuring 5X Grammy winner Lil Wayne. In her latest song, 'Came Out a Beast,' she gives a special shout-out to LSU alums Angel Reese and NFL quarterback Joe Burrow.

This track is part of her debut album, 'Best of Both Worlds,' now officially released. With a $1.2M NIL valuation, according to On3, Flau'jae raps:

“Keep a double I feel like I’m Reese…I got me a natty/ I got me a ring/ I ain’t switchin no sides I’ma ride with my team…I go to LSU and I be reppin’ it like I’m Joe Burrow,” Flau’jae raps, as shared on espnW's Instagram.

Flau'jae Johnson’s 'Best of Both Worlds' album dropped on Friday, featuring a total of nine tracks:

Flau'jae spoke about her project and raw work experience.

“This project reflects who I am – a basketball player, a rapper, and someone who refuses to be put in a box,” she said [per espnW]. “I hope my fans can feel the passion and dedication I’ve poured into every song.”

On the court, with Angel Reese moving to the WNBA and Hailey Van Lith transferring, Flau'jae could step up significantly in the 2024-25 season and possibly earn a spot on the All-American team.

Flau'jae Johnson credits Lil Wayne for pushing her into a new world

LSU's Flau’jae Johnson credits Lil Wayne for inspiring her to reach new heights. In a statement to Complex, she said:

“Working with Lil Wayne on ‘Came Out a Beast’ was a surreal experience. His energy and talent pushed me to new heights."

Her project also features collaborations with rappers NLE Choppa and 2Rare. Flau’jae has wholeheartedly embraced the music industry since 2019, releasing projects and securing a deal with Roc Nation. She released her debut single, 'Why Dey Hatin' in May 2017.
