The 2024-25 college basketball season is less than a month away, with the preseason AP Top 25 Poll released on Monday. NIL deals have taken the college sports world by storm in recent years as amateur athletes are now allowed to be compensated for their name, image and likeness.

Cooper Flagg joined the No. 7 Duke Blue Devils as a five-star prospect, and the top-ranked overall player, in the 2024 recruiting class. While he has not made his college basketball debut, he has the highest NIL valuation in the sport with a reported valuation of $2.6 million.
#2. RJ Davis
RJ Davis joined the No. 9 North Carolina Tar Heels as a four-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. The one-time All-American has averaged 15.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.1 blocks per game while shooting 41.9% from the field, 37.2% from 3-point range and 85.8% from the free throw line in his career. He has an NIL valuation of $2.3 million.
#3. Caleb Love
Caleb Love initially joined the Tar Heels as a five-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. The one-time All-American entered the transfer portal ahead of last season and, after initially committing to the Michigan Wolverines, wound up joining the No. 10 Arizona Wildcats.
He has a career average of 15.5 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 3.4 apg, 1.1 spg and 0.3 bpg while shooting 37.5% from the field, 32.2% from 3-point range and 82.2% from the free throw line. His NIL valuation sits at $2.1 million.

Mark Sears initially joined the Ohio Bobcats as a three-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. The one-time All-American joined the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide via the transfer portal ahead of the 2022-23 season.
