Meleek Thomas joined Flau'jae Johnson on her "Best of Both Worlds" podcast on Thursday, where he spoke about the different aspects of his game and his future college plans. The guard is a No. 11-ranked prospect in the 2025 class.

Johnson was curious to know who Thomas modeled his game after from the NBA. However, the guard replied that he does not take the entire aspect of a player's game.

"No, I just like to take like, little pieces, little gems from different players," Thomas said. "I don't really model my game after nobody, but people tell me like, if I had to give somebody, people tell me they see Dejounte Murray, they see Jamal Crawford, they see in downhill, scoring, guards like that." Meleek Thomas goes viral for his trash-talking

Earlier this month, clips of Meleek Thomas trash-talking his opponents went viral on social media. The guard was playing against Air Nado with his Overtime Elite team, the City Reapers.

One of the players from the opponent side tried to get under Thomas' skin as he said:

"You a fake four-star."

To this, Meleek Thomas had a quick response, saying he was actually a five-star recruit. The guard did not back out from giving it back to the opponents, as he said at one point:

"I got 24 and it ain't look like I did s***. I don't gotta show you s***. You know me, I don't know you."

In the interview with Flau'jae Johnson, Thomas spoke about this incident and explained how he was able to come back with quick rebuttals.

"Because where I'm from, it's just like and the people I be around they always got something to say back to what I say like, always since I've been growing up," Thomas said. "So it's like I got unlimited thoughts in my head, like if somebody say something, I just know what I'm going to say next." (Timestamp 1:30)

The guard is also about to make important college decisions. His top seven schools include UConn, Pittsburg, Kansas, Kansas State, Arkansas, Auburn and Alabama. When asked about the recruitment experience, Thomas said:

"I say my experience is, it's definitely a blessing just to visit schools and see things that I always wanted to. But like you said, it can get wild, it can get crazy.
"The pressure can be on at times, so I try to just slow my mind down, slow my processing down and just try to pace things out and have fun and enjoy everything and not try to let it just sit on my mind, 'cause if you let, it's going to get crazy." (Timestamp 08:02)

Meleek Thomas also shared that he will be making his final college decision on Nov. 10 or 11.
