“53 never looked better”: Hanna and Haley Cavinder post sweet message for “biggest inspiration” on special day

Before the Miami Hurricanes took on Virginia Tech on Saturday, Hanna and Haley Cavinder wished their mom, Katie Cavinder, a happy birthday. The twins took to their Instagram stories, sharing a few glimpses alongside her with their 348,000 followers.

They posted two photo collages with Katie, showcasing pictures from the Christmas celebration, Mother's Day, Hurricanes' game day and more.

"Happy birthday to my inspiration, 53 never looked better, luv you so much mama!" the initial story read.

"Happy birthday to my rock and role model. You are everything we all want to be and I am so grateful that you are my mom. 53 never looked so good, I love you more than you know @katiecav7," the second story read.

Haley and Hanna Cavinder also orchestrated an intimate family-only birthday dinner for Katie at their house. The twins decorated the dining area with a balloon banner, centerpieces and tableware, before surprising her with a special mobile dining experience from Lets Hibachi.

The family enjoyed the showmanship of the traditional and entertaining Japanese hibachi experience and enjoyed their meals on the pool deck.

Hanna and Haley Cavinder gifted their parents a golf cart for Christmas

After spreading joy and gift boxes to a local school with their partnership with Ghost, Slate Milk and Under Armour, Hanna and Haley Cavinder shook hands with Beachside Golf Cars dealership to surprise Katie and Tom Cavinder. They gifted their parents a 2025 Evolution D5 Maverick 4 Plus black golf cart for Christmas.

They also posted a reel about their surprise, showcasing their parents' surprise over the golf cart. Haley and Hanna Cavinder named the vehicle "Cavinder Cruiser," according to the sticker on the front cowl.

The all-terrain Cavinder Cruiser is priced at nearly $10,000 and is loaded with amenities like luxury seats, a nine-inch touchscreen, a music system, adjustable steering, charging ports and more.

Hanna and Haley Cavinder will now travel to the JMA Wireless Dome to face the Syracuse Orange on Jan. 12. The Hurricanes (11-4, 1-3 ACC) lost 68-64 to Virginia Tech.
