$750,000 NIL-valued Caitlin Clark signs with company that reps legends like Tiger Woods, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and more

Iowa Hawkeyes basketball star Caitlin Clark has had a stellar year on and off the court, sweeping individual awards and bagging endorsement deals, but her latest association might be her most impressive yet.

On Tuesday, it was announced that Clark had signed with Excel Sports Management. The agency represents some of the biggest names in different sports nationally. Some of the clients on its roster include golf legend Tiger Woods and football icons Eli and Peyton Manning.

Caitlin Clark will be represented by Alan Zucker, Colleen Garrity and Erin Kan. Mike Nizzi, Clark's uncle previously represented her.

Clark, who has an NIL valuation of $757,000 with deals with brands like State Farm, Topps trading cards and Nike, released a statement expressing her delight:

“I’m lucky to just be starting my career at a time when sports are intertwined with business and entertainment more so than ever before,” Clark said. “Excel has an incredible track record of helping clients extend their profile and impact far beyond the bounds of their sport and pursue different passions while also competing at the highest level.

“Personally, I am looking forward to being part of innovative partnerships, helping to elevate women’s sports and supporting others through the Caitlin Clark Foundation.”

Caitlin Clark named to AP preseason All-American team

Caitlin Clark was recently unanimously picked to the Associated Press preseason women’s basketball All-America team. She was joined by archrival, LSU's Angel Reese, as well as Stanford's Cameron Brink, Virginia Tech's Elizabeth Kitley and Connecticut's Paige Bueckers.

On the back of her selection, Iowa coach Lisa Bluder praised her influential star player.

“Caitlin has grown the most this year in her leadership skills. As the point guard, she holds herself and everyone accountable around her,” Bluder said. “She has also learned this summer to become more effective coming off ball screens. She means a ton to our program, and it’s hard to put it into words. She helped break the NCAA record for attendance, and she’s growing the sport as a whole not just for Iowa.”

The coming season promises to be one of the most memorable in recent history with all the attention on women's basketball and the return of the likes of Paige Bueckers from injury.

Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark have their work cut out for them if they are to repeat last season's heroics.
