"A clean bathroom is priceless": South Carolina HC Dawn Staley's epic bathroom hunt at recruiting event sparks hilarious reactions

South Carolina coach Dawn Staley is back on the recruiting run. At one recruiting event, Staley searched hard for a clean bathroom before finally finding one, as she shared on social media. The coach took to her X to share her experience with fans:

"Just searched and searched and searched and found a clean bathroom at this recruiting event….number 1 you dirty minded peeps! 🤣🤣🤣"

Fans in the comments sympathized with Staley's situation as they stressed the importance of clean bathrooms. One fan wrote:

"Nothing wrong with that! Covid showed us how dirty people really are. A clean bathroom is priceless"

"Paint was peeling?" another asked.

"Coach, I feel you clean bathroom a must," one fan wrote.

"So women's bathrooms are just as bad as men's at large events? 🤷‍♂️🤣," a fan commented.

"Thank Goodness for that😂😂😂," another wrote.

After her third championship last season, the Gamecocks enter the upcoming season as one of the favorites to win the championship once again.

Dawn Staley shares an important attribute she looks for in recruits

Dawn Staley has coached some of the WNBA's best talents, including A'ja Wilson, Kamilla Cardoso, Aliyah Boston, and more. While her championship-winning strategies are the reasons behind her team's success, much of the groundwork goes into recruiting.

During a press interview after winning the title in April, Dawn Staley explained:

"Aside from their talent, a prerequisite of us actually recruiting a young lady is their relationship with their parents, because if they respect their parents, they're going to respect us. If they don't respect their parents, we don't have a shot. So that's what we look at a lot.

"Fortunately, we have some really great parents who are - they're in their daughters' lives every single day, so they're in our lives every single day. And we don't mind because all of us want the same thing. We want them to be incredibly successful. I'm fortunate as a coach to have that relationship with our parents."

Even after they graduate, coach Staley maintains her relationship with her players, continuing to coach them.
