Notre Dame's Hannah Hidalgo has been a force to be reckoned with on the hardwood this season. The sophomore point guard has put on dazzling performances, averaging 23.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game this season.

Fighting Irish fans have been mesmerized by the young star's ability to take over games. On Thursday night, Notre Dame faced the No. 4 Texas Longhorns, and Hidalgo once again reminded everyone just how special of a talent she is. She finished the night with 30 points and 8 rebounds in her team’s 80-70 victory.

Social media was abuzz with praise for Hidalgo’s performance, with fans marveling at her talent.

Hannah Hidalgo dropped a season-high 30 points against Texas on Thursday at Purcell Pavilion. She shot an efficient 11-of-20 from the field, including 3-of-5 from 3-point range and a perfect 5-of-5 from the free throw line.

She also added eight rebounds, four assists and three steals in the ACC-SEC Challenge.

The Fighting Irish lost back-to-back matches before the Texas clash against Hailey Van Lith's TCU and Utah in the Cayman Islands Classic. However, Hidalgo’s heroics helped Notre Dame bounce back and defeat the Longhorns to improve to 6-2 on the season.

Hidalgo and Co. face the Syracuse Orange next at JMA Wireless Dome on Sunday.
