Rutgers guard Ace Bailey took to social media and showed his support for teammate Dylan Harper. On Thursday, Bailey shared Harper's post on his Instagram stories hyping up his fellow freshman.

Ace Bailey, a five-star recruit, joined Rutgers this year as he committed to play for Rutgers over Ohio State, Kentucky, Kansas, Texas and Oregon. Dylan Harper also joined Rutgers this year after committing to play for the Scarlet Knights. Harper made history by becoming the program's highest-rated recruit after declining offers from Duke, Kansas, Indiana and Auburn.

In an Instagram story, Ace Bailey reposted Dylan Harper's IG post and showed support for the point guard by energizing Harper with the caption:

Ace Bailey shows respect for Dylan Harper and explains why they can succeed at Rutgers

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights hit the lottery when two of the three highest-rated players in the class of 2024 committed to joining the program.

In a video posted on the March Madness YouTube channel on Nov. 25, Ace Bailey assessed his qualities and showed his respect for Dylan Harper’s impact this season.

“I am a scorer, a defender and a leader. I’m physical and competitive,” Bailey said. “What Dylan brings to the game is his high IQ. He is a big guard so he sees everything. He gets to the rim and shoots over defenders and not a lot of freshmen can do that. He can post up and can shoot the 3-ball. He’s a great leader on and off the court. We can play off each other and fans can expect a show from us.”

Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper will be aiming to bring success to Rutgers as the only players on the squad with double-digit points per game this season.

Bailey and Harper are freshmen on a mission to make history with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Rutgers (5-3) will be looking to improve on their fortunes and end a two-game skid against Ohio State (Dec. 7).
