The No. 1 recruit in the 2025 class of incoming high school talents, AJ Dybantsa has narrowed down his top preferred schools. Moreover, the six-foot-nine wing has also released a schedule of making official visits to schools.

The schools he will begin visiting from August 30 are Kansas State, Kansas Jayhawks, North Carolina Tar Heels, Alabama, Baylor and BYU. Dybantsa also has Auburn as his top choice and visited the program in March.

While the dates are fixed, there's still a possibility that a school or two might sweep in with exclusive experiences for Dybantsa.

Nevertheless, the top recruit's commitment news will come out next year. His father Ace Dynasntsa revealed that AJ Dybantsa will declare his commitment in February 2025 in light of Black History Month.

AJ Dybantsa’s combination of size, athleticism and scoring touch makes him one of the best youngsters in next year’s class. He has great form on his jumper and a release point that cultivates into high-arcing shots, even from inside the arc.

Dybantsa’s potential was noticed early in high school, and he has lived up to the hype by improving his game in each level. He also brings international experience to the table, with a FIBA U17 gold medal stint for Team USA.

AJ Dybantsa's Nike EYBL and Peach Jam performance

As an underclassman, AJ Dybantsa was the leading scorer in Nike’s EYBL 2023 Peach Jam. While his leading scorer tag didn't endure this time, his team made the Peach Jam finals, albeit while he continued improving his game.

During the regular EYBL circuit, Dybantsa averaged 22.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists across 15 games, leading his team to one of the best records (14-1). He scored less than 20 points thrice, and his best game of the circuit was a 34-point and seven-rebound performance on a 47.6% shooting.

Dybantsa increased his production in the Peach Jam last month, averaging 23.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in eight games. The scoring wing displayed consistency in his output throughout the tourney, posting 21-23 points in most of his games.
