Tre-Vaughn Minott posted an Instagram story of his in-game highlight on Saturday. The collegiate center who is also the boyfriend of 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year Aliyah Boston, dropped a 4-word reaction on the clip.
The clip showed him converting an alley-oop dunk and the Canadian who is currently representing the Portland State Vikings shared this highlight, captioning it:
"Put em on TELLAVISIon."
The text on the story is a reference to his music label 'Tellavision'. Minott posted this highlight with the song Ketamine (intro), by hip-hop artist 'deadrat', playing in the background.
The 6'9" center was a part of the University of South Carolina program which was also home to Aliyah Boston. In 2023, Minnot made the switch to Portland State University and in the same year, Aliyah Boston was drafted by the Indiana Fever.
Since joining the Vikings last year, Tre has stepped up his game and is averaging 6.5 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game. He is playing 16 mins a game which is a career-high and is putting together the best season of his career.
Aliyah Boston and Tre Minott's relationship so far
Although Aliyah is busy tearing up the WNBA and Tre is still hooping in college, the two hoopers have stayed committed to their relationship. The couple have been together since 2020 and first met when they were both in college.
The pair attended the University of South Carolina together, and their relationship kicked off during their time there. The couple also have a shared TikTok account with the username “2tallhumans4" and post content regularly.
When asked about how their relationship began, in an interview with The State newspaper, Minott said that the thought of it was "making him smile".
"It was out of nowhere. ... It was, ‘Hey, let me tell you a joke.’ And that’s it. Just from there. We laugh about it every day. Every single day. It was just like an instant spark." he said.
The couple shared the same jersey number while playing for the Gamecocks and even played the same position in college. While they are not in college together anymore, the couple keeps fans updated about their relationship on their common social media account.
