It won't be easy for Kim Mulkey to fill the void left by her former star players, Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith. LSU was eyeing top prospect Sarah Strong, who later clarified that LSU was not in her plans.

However, there has been a commitment from promising players like Jada Richard from Lafayette Christian Academy. She is being seen as a key player for LSU next season, as she averaged 26.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game in high school.

Reportedly, LSU is also looking to secure the services of Kailyn Gilbert, who averaged 15.1 points and 2.3 assists per game at Tucson in the 2023–24 season.

So maybe this can be the two new faces that Mulkey expects to be the new faces of LSU college basketball.
