Bronny James, LeBron's eldest son, has been a big topic among basketball fans and experts. Although he is not considered a top prospect, his potential selection in the first round has sparked significant interest, especially with the Dallas Mavericks reportedly considering him.

According to NBA reporter Marc Stein in his newsletter "The Stein Line":

"The Mavericks would have interest in selecting Bronny James with the 58th overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, league sources say. But the Mavericks also realize it's extremely unlikely that James will still be available for selection."

Fan reactions have been mixed. Some express skepticism, while others are more optimistic, believing that the young athlete could be a valuable asset to the Mavs, who are hoping to pair him with Luka Doncic.

"Bronny will be a first round pick just because of Lebrun," one fan stated.
"It is so wild that teams will waste a draft pick on a dude that average 4 pts a game in college and is 6’ tall, "one fan commented.

Meanwhile, another countered with:

"Bronny would be there best player."

Some fans are surprised by Dallas's draft focus amidst the NBA Finals.

"Dallas Mavericks already thinking about draft day instead of game 5 of the finals??" one fan remarked.

Others speculate that the Mavericks’ interest in the player could be part of a larger strategy to attract LeBron James himself.

"The world needs to witness this trio," one fan wrote.
"Correction* 'The Mavericks are interested in getting LeBron James, and found a way to maybe pull it off'," another fan commented.

As things stand, the former USC star will be selected in the second round before Dallas gets to pick him in the draft.

Bronny James finished pre-draft workout with the Lakers

Bronny James reportedly completed his pre-draft training with the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday. This visit is his second workout with an NBA team, following a previous session with the Phoenix Suns.

James' agent, Rich Paul, confirmed in May that they had scheduled only two sessions, one with the Lakers and another with the Suns.

The Lakers hold the 17th and 55th picks in the draft and are likely to aim for Bronny James with their second-round pick. On the other hand, the Suns possess the 22nd pick.
