Kylie Feuerbach, Lucy Olsen and the rest of the Iowa Hawkeyes team are in New York for their game against the Tennessee Lady Volunteers on Saturday. Before their big tip-off, the team enjoyed some time off as they did some sightseeing at Times Square and the famous Christmas tree at the Rockefeller Center.

Feuerbach shared the photos from the evening to her Instagram on Friday with the caption:

"NYC!"

Former Iowa Hawkeyes guard Caitlin Clark reacted to the photos in the comments.

"Awesome kyles," she wrote.

Caitlin Clark and Kylie Feuerbach shared the court for three years and were part of the historic back-to-back Final Four run in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. Feuerbach spent one year at Iowa State before transferring to the Hawkeyes. The two were roommates during Clark's time with the Hawkeyes.

In an interview for Jada Gyamfi's 'Fresh Tawk' podcast on Oct. 1, Kylie Feuerbach admitted that Clark was one of the reasons behind her transferring.

"I had played with Caitlin, she had been my point guard obviously for attack in the past, and I knew, kind of just like the work ethic and the coaches. I just knew the culture, obviously, was insanely good."
"There was a lot of things. Being a little bit closer to home, it’s a huge thing. I think the Big Ten conference, overall, like the way they play basketball, is very appealing to play."

Kylie Feuerbach still awaits her breakout moment

Kylie Feuerbach missed the 2022-23 season with an ACL tear and made a healthy return last season. She averaged 2.6 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 13.8 minutes while coming off the bench.

This season, she has started in all of Iowa's eight games but is yet to increase her production. She averages 6.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game with more time on the court. Kylie Feuerbach is optimistic about her performance. In an interview with Shaw Local in October, she said:

“Honestly, whenever my time comes, it’s great. I have a lot of girls who are great around me, so that helps a lot. I’m not always going into a game expecting that [near double-double] to happen.
"I kind of come in with the same mentality as I always do, just working as hard as I can, staying consistent in the gym, and whatever the outcome is, I’ll always be satisfied as long as I’m working hard.”

The Iowa vs Tennessee game will be played at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
