Caitlin Clark's boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, and Butler Bulldogs freshman Evan Haywood shared a hilarious moment on Instagram. Haywood reposted a mixtape of McCaffery on his story on Monday, tagging the former Hawkeye in the post. McCaffery posted the video on his IG on April 25, 2023, to reflect on his basketball journey with the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Minutes after Evan Haywood's gesture, McCaffery reposted the story on his handle, highlighting the playful banter between the two athletes.
"Shut up man," McCaffery wrote.
Connor McCaffery was a distinguished student-athlete with the Hawkeyes, playing 166 games and mounting a program-high 111 wins. The 6-foot-5 guard/forward played six years of college basketball, averaging 4.5 points, 3.2 assists and 3.0 rebounds on 35.6% shooting.
His best game was against the UConn Huskies in the 2018-19 season, where he dropped 19 points and five assists on 62.5% shooting.
