"Can I pls get your #?": Chicago Sky rookie Kamilla Cardoso teases South Carolina's Chloe Kitts over her stylish snap

Kamilla Cardoso and Chloe Kitts shared the court for two years, which also included their 2024 national championship. Cardoso has now moved on to the WNBA and Kitts is entering her third year with the Gamecocks.

The physical distance has not stopped their friendship, and the Chicago Sky rookie showed just how close the duo is via Kitts' latest Instagram post.

On Monday, Chloe Kitts' birthday, the guard shared her pictures on social media.

Kamilla Cardoso took to the comments to tease her former teammate as she first wrote:

"Heyyyy baeeee"

"I'm obsessed, can Ispls get your #?," she then added.

"Bae I love you!!!!"

Kamilla Cardoso transferred to South Carolina after her freshman year with Syracuse. She went on to win two NCAA Championships with the Gamecocks and was selected No. 3 overall by the Chicago Sky in the 2024 WNBA draft.

Meanwhile, Chloe Kitts has a few more years before she is eligible for the draft. While on court, Kitts and Cardoso shared great chemistry that brought about their results, including their undefeated run to the championship last season. Speaking on this chemistry during an interview with Bacon Network in May, the forward said:

"I think it came about because we both know where we want the ball and we both just get it to each other where we want it. It's easier when you know like, that's kind of how our chemistry started. Off the court, we're all close, like our whole team is close. We all hang out, you know, it's a great time on and off the court.

So you know we just kept finding each other, passing the ball. It just clicked. It just happened. It's easier to throw it to her. I mean, she's six-foot-seven. So I just throw it up and she goes to get it. Even if it's a bad pass, you know, she always tries to get my passes."

With the WNBA now taking a break because of the Olympics, Kamilla Cardoso has a lot of free time on her hands and she is using it to entertain her fans. On Tuesday, she went live on Instagram, where she sported a wig, cosplaying as Justin Bieber. She even mouthed along to the singer's famous song, Baby.

Kamilla Cardoso and the Chicago Sky will get back to court on Aug 15 after the break and take on the Phoenix Mercury. Meanwhile, Chloe Kitts and the Gamecocks are preparing to defend their title this season.
