Carson Beck's sister Kylie couldn't hold her enthusiasm after Hanna Cavinder's heartfelt response to Beck's latest move. The 23-year-old quarterback declared his transfer to the Miami Hurricanes from the Georgia Bulldogs on Friday through an Instagram post. He posted an image of himself in a Canes jersey with "305 bound" and "Committed" written on it.
Cavinder took to X/Twitter to showcase her excitement with Hurricanes fans by writing:
"It’s a great day to be a miami hurricane."
Carson Beck's sister Kylie reposted it on her Instagram story with a special message:
"15 15 15," Beck wrote.
Moreover, the Georgia Dance Dawgs member also posted a separate story to congratulate her brother and wish him the best in his new journey:
Hanna's twin Haley Cavinder also congratulated the latest Hurricanes member with multiple comments on his transfer declaration post.
Beck will now take over under center from Cam Ward's role for Miami, who is expected to be an early pick in the 2025 NFL draft in April. Carson Beck had initially declared for the draft as well; however, he extended his college football career by entering the transfer portal on Thursday.
He brings two national championship experiences alongside 26 starts (88.4% win record), 3,485 passing yards, 58 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. The quarterback is currently rehabbing a UCL surgery in his right elbow, which he sustained during the SEC championship game against the Texas Longhorns.
Hanna Cavinder and Carson Beck will not be able to attend college together
Carson Beck's update had birthed the narrative among some fans online that Hanna Cavinder lured the quarterback into committing to Miami. However, the couple will not be able to attend college together as Cavinder is in the middle of her last year of eligibility.
Nevertheless, the couple will be closer than ever before. Hanna and Haley Cavinder currently stay in their apartment in downtown Fort Lauderdale, which is roughly 35 miles from the University of Miami.
Cavinder is averaging 7.7 points, 3.9 assists and 2.8 rebounds this season on a career-high 50.0% shooting. She is eligible to enter the 2025 WNBA draft but has not publicized her stance on taking her talents to the big league yet.
