It was a night of celebration and accomplishment for the LSU Tigers as Flau'jae Johnson achieved a milestone during coach Kim Mulkey’s 100 career win with the program. Johnson set the record as the fastest SEC player to score 200 points this season.

The Tigers’ 131-44 victory over North Carolina Central on Sunday improved their record to 9-0. Johnson, who has led LSU in scoring in six games this season, contributed a game-high 22 points, along with two assists and four steals, reaching the 200-point mark in just nine games.

The 5-foot-10 junior guard has been a pivotal player in LSU’s perfect start, averaging 22.3 points per game. The night was made even more special by coach Mulkey achieving her 100th win with LSU, making her the fastest coach in program history to reach the milestone, doing so in just 114 games.

"Throughout my career, I've been blessed to coach players that believe in our system and what we do," Mulkey said. "Coming to LSU is not any different than when I was at Baylor for 20-plus years. Kids have to believe in you and let you coach them. All of those wins belong to them."

Flau'jae Johnson, a second-team All-SEC selection, has made significant strides this season, improving on her performance from last year, when she averaged 14.9 points per game.

Her offensive efficiency has been on display throughout the season, shooting 54.7%, including 43.2% from 3-point range.
