Apart from being good friends, Kim Kardashian and Kiyan Anthony's mother, La La Anthony, are set to collaborate professionally as the reality star will produce a Hulu series, 'Group Chat', based on Anthony's 2014 book, “The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex and Happiness.”
“Kim Kardashian and I just signed a deal with Hulu to produce an all-star show called 'Group Chat,' which is based on our group chat,” Anthony said (via Forbes).
“It's fun and really speaks to women at this stage in their lives, whether they're dealing with relationships, being a mom, friendships, or whatever else. All of these topics are discussed in the group chat, and we're bringing those stories to life."
La La Anthony spreads holiday cheer and joy with children
On Dec. 11, La La Anthony shared the Christmas joy with more than 400 children at her 7th annual Winter Wonderland charity event in the Bronx. Gaucho Gym was the venue for the night and Anthony spoke on the significance of it:
“Gaucho [Gym] is so important for us because that’s the gym that my son started playing basketball in, as he was learning the fundamentals. To be able to take over the gym and do all this fun stuff for the kids around the holidays is like a great feeling.”
La La was joined by her son, Kiyan Anthony, and LeBron James' wife, Savannah James, who also spent the evening with the kids. Kiyan even gave away a PlayStation 5.
“I also want to encourage everyone to give back in any way that they can,” La La Anthony said (via 21Ninety). “The holidays are a great time, but I think sometimes we forget that doesn’t mean it’s a great time for everyone.
"Families are struggling, people are struggling, and the holidays could just be a reminder of what families don’t have or what families need. So, just be mindful of that as we enter into this season and really just try to help as best as we all can.”
Kiyan Anthony is playing his final season at Long Island Lutheran High School and is set to follow in his father Carmelo Anthony's footsteps in playing his college career with the Syracuse Orange.
