Cooper Flagg didn't bring his superhero cape tonight, but he still produced a workmanlike performance for the No. 3-ranked Duke in its 89-54 win over Miami in an ACC showdown on Tuesday at the Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Days after his 42-point performance against Notre Dame, Flagg stepped aside and allowed fellow freshmen Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach to do the damage against the Hurricanes.

The 6-foot-9 Newport, Maine native produced 13 points, seven rebounds, six assists and one steal in 28 minutes for the Blue Devils (15-2, 7-0 in ACC). The five-star freshman shot 5-of-11 (2-of-5 3-pointers) and made his only free-throw attempt of the game.

A marked man from the start of the contest, Flagg decided to play the role of a playmaker and was successful, dishing off six assists to Kon Knueppel (thrice), Isaiah Evans, Mason Gillis and Sion James.

He also scored eight points, including a three-point play and a triple, pulled down three rebounds and recorded a steal to give Duke a 50-26 lead in the first half.

In the second half, Flagg scored five points on a jumper and a 3-pointer that handed the Blue Devils a 63-35 lead at the 13:36 mark. He also grabbed four rebounds before sitting out in the last 3:34 of the game.

Here are Cooper Flagg's final stats in Duke's win over Miami.

Kon Knueppel, Khaman Maluach lead Duke to big win over Miami amid Cooper Flagg's quiet game

The Duke Blue Devils proved they're more than just Cooper Flagg as Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach delivered career games in points and rebounds to demolish Miami and remain unbeaten in the ACC.

Knueppel fired in a career-high 25 points, on 9-of-11 shooting, including 6-of-8 from the 3-point line while Maluach pulled down a season's-best 15 rebounds to go along with 12 points.

The Jon Scheyer-coached team proved too talented against the hapless Hurricanes, who remained winless in the conference in six games and 4-13 overall.

Mason Gillis came off the bench and scored 12 points, all from the 3-point line, while Caleb Foster and Isaiah Evans added nine and eight points, respectively for the Blue Devils, who shot 54.8% on the field, including 17 of 32 from the 3-point line.

Thanks to Flagg and Maluach, Duke outrebounded Miami, 43-22, and lorded over the assists department, 25-15. The Blue Devils' defense allowed the Hurricanes to 39.0% from the field (30% from 3-pointers).

Lynn Kidd led Miami with 20 points. Austin Swartz added 11 for the Hurricanes, who remained without Nijel Pack (injury).

Duke will travel to Chestnut Hill to take on Boston College (9-8, 1-5) on Saturday.
