Cooper Flagg continued his journey to superstardom, leading Duke to a 74-64 win over NC State on Monday at the Cameron Indoor Stadium. The 6-foot-9 guard bucked a slow start to score 23 of his 28 points in the second half to lift the No. 2-ranked Blue Devils (18-2, 10-0 in ACC) to a come-from-behind victory over the Wolfpack (9-11).

For a few minutes, NC State seemed to have the solution to clamp down on Flagg, who struggled for five points and caused Duke to fall behind by as many as 13 in the first half. Little did the Wolfpack know, Flagg was only warming up.

The Newport, Maine native returned to the court with a renewed spirit, playing with tons of energy at the start of the second half. He grabbed the rebounds and went aggressive inside, making eight points in three minutes and handing Duke a 45-37 advantage.

The freshman strung up 10 straight points to hand the Blue Devils a 59-53 edge with 6:49 left. The No. 1 freshman in the Class of 2024 showed off his passing skills, giving a timely assist to Sion James, who stuffed the ball in for a 61-57 lead.

Flagg scored five more points, including two pressure-packed free throws that gave the Blue Devils a 65-62 advantage at 4:21. His layup and assist to Patrick Ngongba II iced the game for the Blue Devils, who narrowly avoided a big upset and kept its one-game lead against Clemson intact in the ACC standings.

Cooper Flagg finished with 28 points, seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block.

Here is Flagg's final tally in Duke's win over NC State.
