Dawn Staley and South Carolina staff rock special identical outfit for game vs Iowa State on Thanksgiving

Coach Dawn Staley and the No. 4 South Carolina women's basketball team commemorated Thanksgiving with a unique appearance.

Going into Thursday's game against No. 15 Iowa State, Staley and her coaching staff decided to wear identical clothing to celebrate the holiday. They all donned a green jacket that had a clear five-worded message regarding women's sports.

Staley addressed MiLaysia Fulwiley's situation after UCLA game

Not only did the Gamecocks suffer their first loss of the season against UCLA on Sunday, but Staley also had to address MiLaysia Fulwiley's lack of playing time.

Fulwiley has been a spark plug off the bench for the Gamecocks since her freshman campaign. She had a solid role in the offense and helped the team win a national championship.

However, against the Bruins, she only played for three minutes and didn't return after being subbed out late in the first quarter. Fans believed it was because of rumors surrounding a potential transfer, but Staley made sure to shut that down by reaffirming Fulwiley's commitment to the team.

“It’s her process. Everybody has a process. And everybody wants to say transfer but we trust over here. That’s with everybody. MiLaysia and I are good. Other people ask about issues and what is going on here, but our house is tight,” Staley said Wednesday.

Fulwiley is averaging 10.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game on 44.1% shooting from the field and 33.3% from beyond the arc. She helped the Gamecocks put up 77.5 points on 43.9% shooting overall so far this season, contributing to their 5-1 start.

After Thursday's game against the No. 15 Cyclones, No. 4 South Carolina will play Purdue Saturday at 11 a.m. ET.
