KK Arnold is looking to make a strong impression in her sophomore season with the UConn Huskies. Ahead of the 2024-25 women's college basketball season, the the 5-foot-9 guard shared a few snaps of herself donning the Huskies colors with pride on media day in September.

Arnold put on her best smile during the photoshoot while handling the ball with ease. Her Instagram post on Wednesday, captioned, "run it back", drew the attention of several Huskies stars, both old and new.

Ex-Huskies forward Aaliyah Edwards, who the Washington Mystics made the sixth pick in the 2024 draft, and Paige Bueckers were among the first to hype up Arnold ahead of her sophomore season.

KK Arnold enjoyed a solid freshman season with the Huskies

According to ESPN, KK Arnold was ranked the sixth overall prospect in the Class of 2023 when she committed to the Huskies. She justified the hype with an exceptional freshman season, playing her part in getting the Huskies to the Final Four.

In 33 starts, Arnold averaged 8.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.3 steals, finishing with a team-leading tally of 90 steals. Her impressive performances earned her a spot on the Big East All-Freshman Team.

Heading into her sophomore season, Arnold will be expected to play a bigger role in the backcourt alongside Bueckers, who is touted as one of the top picks in next year's WNBA draft.

Geno Auriemma will look to recreate the winning formula with a strong roster, who will arguably be favorites to make a deep postseason run once again in the 2024-25 season.
