Kiyan Anthony may be the son of Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony, but he has made it quite clear that his idols are everyone but him. While he previously named Paul George as his GOAT, Kiyan was seen living with his best fan moment while meeting another NBA star.

Boston Celtics' Jayson Tatum joined Carmelo Anthony on his podcast, '7 PM in Brooklyn', in July. Kiyan Anthony was also present during the filming and he shared the moment of meeting and interacting with Tatum on his Overtime show, 'Evolution'.

Kiyan praised Jayson Tatum and said:

"When you see NBA players, especially of that caliber, you can just feel it."

Fans were shocked to see Kiyan react like this to a player when his father is one of the most legendary players in the NBA. However, some fans pointed it out as the young star living out his dreams as a true fan of the game.

"Love this. Even though Melo his pops, he still is a kid and a fan. Exactly how it should be. Pure and real," one fan wrote.

Despite joking around, Anthony has named his father as his inspiration and has credited him for helping to hone his skills. He also shared on his show the one skill that he has tried to inculcate from his father's game.

“Leadership is definitely the biggest component to me," Anthony said. "I saw my Pops go through every role in the NBA. He was a star, he was coming off the bench, sixth man, straight shooter.
“I seen him do everything, go through everything. He was still a leader in his own way through everything. So, I definitely take some of that and apply it to my game.”

Kiyan Anthony to make an important college decision next month

Kiyan Anthony will be playing his senior season with the Long Island Lutheran High School in winter. Before that, the guard has to make some important college decisions. In the summer, Anthony revealed his top six schools: Rutgers, Auburn, USC, Ohio State, Florida State and his father's alma mater, Syracuse.

Fans are hoping that Kiyan follows in his father's footsteps and leads the Orange to another NCAA championship. However, the guard revealed that Carmelo was not pushing him toward any school and was just letting him make his choice. Hopefully, the youngster will choose wisely and profitably for himself.
