Carmelo Anthony had plenty of memorable games during his 20-year-long career in the NBA and his son, Kiyan, just named his favorite one.

During his latest appearance on the 'Sloane Knows' podcast on Tuesday, Kiyan Anthony was asked to name the most memorable game of his father.

"The playoffs when he played against Kobe," Anthony said. "Like those were just every game was just like a battle. You didn't know who was going to win. It could go either way, so I feel like those are just the icon games," he added.

Carmelo Anthony and Kobe Bryant led the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers in playoffs for two consecutive seasons (2008, 2009). The Lakers won the series both years and Melo had a 2-8 record against Kobe in his playoffs career.

Carmelo was the Denver Nuggets' third overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. His eight-year run with the Nuggets was the franchise's most successful one, as he partnered with Allen Iverson and other legends in the squad.

Kiyan explains that Carmelo Anthony never pushes his personal choices on him

Kiyan Anthony is at a crucial point in his basketball career as he prepares to go to college. The incoming senior at Long Island Lutheran High School has narrowed his options to six schools, and it includes Carmelo Anthony's alma mater, Syracuse.

Despite leading the Orange to an NCAA championship in 2003 and earning his name on the practice facility, Carmelo is not keen on pushing Kiyan to go to Syracuse.

"[My father] never pushes me to go to Syracuse just because his name is on the gym," Anthony said, (via ESPN). "He did so much at Syracuse. He knows that I'm my own person. I've just got to make my own decision at the end of the day.
"If it is Syracuse—I go there a lot and I practice, I work out there—if it is that, that's what it is. But he's never going to say, 'You got to go to Syracuse. You got to go there because I went there.' He's not going to make me follow in his footsteps unless I really want to."

Heading to Syracuse means Kiyan will be expected to match his father's achievements. For now, Kiyan is still contemplating his choices and is set to announce his final decision by October/November.
