Cavinder twins' Haley faked a shoulder injury after an unimpressive first pitch at the Marlins game
The Cavinder twins threw the ceremonial first pitch at the Miami Marlins vs. the Seattle Mariners game on Monday. The sisters wore customized Marlins jerseys printed with their Hurricanes numbers, that is No. 14 for Haley and No. 15 for Hanna.
In a video uploaded by them, Hanna could successfully throw her ceremonial pitch, however, her sister, Haley's pitch slipped off her grip and bounced while reaching the catcher. She was seen shrugging off her shoulder, trying to fake an injury. The caption of the video was:
"Was the athlete that fakes an injury when things go wrong 🙂↕️ #athlete [Hanna Cavinder]."
The twin sisters will return to college to play for the Miami Hurricanes for their fifth and final season of women's college basketball. In 2023, the two led the Hurricanes to their first Elite Eight appearance but last year, they could not qualify for the NCAAW Tournament. Haley and Hanna will try to change that with their basketball prowess.
