On Tuesday, freshman sensation Cooper Flagg competed with Los Angeles Lakers All-Star Lebron James for dunk of the night. In the second half of the Duke Blue Devils' ACC game against the Pittsburgh Panthers, Flagg rose and left the home crowd in awe for his highlight.
At the 17:35 mark, the first-year superstar stole the ball off a careless bounce pass from Panthers sophomore Jaland Lowe to the post. Flagg ran the fastbreak and met junior forward Guillermo Diaz Graham at the top, just outside the restricted area. The Duke standout's takeoff was just too forceful for Diaz Graham as Flagg stuffed the dunk inside.
To add insult to injury on Pittsburgh's side, their third-year swingman was called for a foul as Flagg put the Blue Devils up by 14, 40-26.

NBA superstar Lebron James, earlier on Tuesday, made his own acrobatic posterizing dunk over Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II, a former Duke Blue Devil.
Fans were in awe of Flagg's flush as he took it to the Panthers defense and did not hold back.
"There was a murder tonight," one user said.
"Just beyond disrespectful lol," another captioned.
"He killed him!," another wrote with shocked emojis.
"DID I JUST WITNESS THAT!?!?!?!?!?," a user exclaimed.
"I dont think that it was a good decision to try to block that," another fan posted.
"That Pitt lad has to hang up the boots after that. There’s no other option," one user shared.
Flagg eventually finished the conference matchup with a game-high 19 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and two stocks (steals plus blocks) en route to the lop-sided 76-47 triumph.
Cooper Flagg throws down back-to-back thunderous dunks
On the very next Duke offensive possession, Cooper Flagg did not let his foot off the gas. Right after a Panthers' Ishmael Legget layup, the 6'9 Flagg would cross up his defender, which happened to be Guilllermo Diaz Graham again, and fly by him for a two-handed slam.
With their fifth straight 2024-2025 ACC victory at bay, Flagg and company play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish next on Saturday, Jan. 11.
