UConn star Azzi Fudd earned praise online for her thoughtful gesture following the Huskies game against Georgetown on Saturday. She was seen interacting with a young deaf UConn fan in sign language, using ASL to communicate.
On Saturday, an X (formerly Twitter) user shared the heartwarming moment by posting a video of Fudd engaging with the fan.

Azzi Fudd shines in homecoming game as Huskies roll over Georgetown
Azzi Fudd delivered a back-to-back 20-point performance, leading the No. 7 UConn Huskies to a 73-55 win over Georgetown in Washington DC. Playing in the town where she grew up, Fudd scored 21 points, one rebound and one assist.
The redshirt junior showed her scoring prowess as she connected on 8 of her 13 shots, including a season-best five 3-pointers in eight attempts.
Fudd has emerged as the primary offensive option for the Huskies in the absence of Paige Bueckers, who is still recovering from a knee sprain she sustained in Huskies' 83-52 win over Villanova on Jan. 5.
Azzi Fudd followed up her 23-point outing against Xavier on Wednesday with another stellar performance. After a season-long injury, the 5-foot-11 guard returned to the court in November 2024.
Fudd has been slowly regaining her form, but in the last two games, Fudd has proven that she can take over the scoring load for Geno Auriemma's team. Her averages have jumped to 9.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
