The Cavinder twins, Haley and Hanna, are some of the earliest student-athletes who capitalized on the opportunity when the NCAA allowed players to monetize on their name, image, and likeness. The fraternal twins were born in South Bend, Indiana, and then moved to the Phoenix area. While growing up, they participated in boys' leagues until sixth grade.

Haley and Hanna played for Gilbert High School in Arizona, alongside their sister Brandi, who is two years older than her. From playing in Arizona to Fresno State and now in Miami, the two have seen a tremendous amount of change. To show their fans their transformation, they uploaded before and after pictures on TikTok with the caption:

"Time flies. This life will go by in a blink of an eye."

Cavinder twins discussed their NIL journey in 2023

Haley and Hanna Cavinder have collaborated with several brands like Under Armour, Gatsby Chocolate, Hustle Beauty and Slate Milk. When asked on "Overtime" last year about how they began their NIL journey, they revealed their secrets:

"I think just starting off, obviously when NIL was passed in 2021, nobody knew what to expect so kinda going into it. Our minds was just like, 'let's have fun and make videos together.'
"Then we got with the right team, our agency, that does good job at meeting long term brands and getting equity in businesses, giving us creative control, which we love. Getting people around you that you trust, to be able to make your life more seamless is honestly like the best advice I could give."

The twins will return to college basketball to play with the Miami Hurricanes for their fifth and final year of college sports. Fans will be interested to see if the Cavinder twins will declare for the 2025 WNBA draft or if they will focus on building their personal brands on social media.
