Hannah Hidalgo is making great strides this season as a sophomore with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Apart from her exploits on the court, the guard is also making big moves off it via NIL.
In December, Hidalgo was announced to join the Red Bull college athlete family. The roster also includes LSU's Mikaylah Williams and South Carolina's MiLaysia Fulwiley.

Hannah Hidalgo leads the race for Player of the Year
After leading Notre Dame to the Sweet 16 last season as a freshman, Hannah Hidalgo is aiming for a deeper post-season run this year. She is averaging 25.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 4.1 steals.
With her incredible performances, leading the Fighting Irish to a 13-2 overall record, Hidalgo is leading the race to win big honors. A fan on X shared Sports Illustrated's early power rankings for NCAAW National Player of the Year and Hannah Hidalgo came first.
The guard is at the forefront of leading her team and is a crucial part in the race to the potential title.
“I know I’m that energy piece for my team,” she said (via On3). “So I try and bring it, not only for every game, but for every practice. Like what you guys see in the games is kind of what I’m bringing for practice.
"So I know my team needs that, and I know they feed off of that. So I’m trying to be consistent, bringing that energy.”
Notre Dame last won a national championship in 2018 and was the runner-up in 2019. Having already defeated USC Trojans and UConn Huskies, the Fighting Irish go into the race with much advantage on their end.
Hidalgo and Co. are now on an eight-game winning streak and are set to face the Clemson Tigers on Sunday.
