LSU star Flau'Jae Johnson is making a big impact on and off the court. The junior guard's mother, Kia Brooks, shared proof of how much her daughter is inspiring the younger generation with an emotional post on Instagram on Sunday.

The post is a video showing a young female fan tearing up after receiving a Big 4 special edition Puma T-shirt. The fan also got a signed shirt from Johnson.

"#StoryTime I'm completely overwhelmed with joy! A mom I'd never met messaged me about her daughter being a huge fan of @flaujae . She'd tried to order a Big 4 special edition puma shirt, but it was out of stock in her size. I offered to send the shirt, and she asked about a jersey too. I directed her to the right site so she could order and sent an extra gift (a signed pair of Pumas) from Flau'jae!
"Seeing the emotions in this video shows me that what we're doing is making a real difference. Flau'jae is inspiring young people to believe in themselves and their abilities. To the mom who went above and beyond to make her daughter's Christmas special, you deserve an award! Your energy and dedication are truly appreciated," Brooks captioned.

Flau'Jae Johnson is enjoying an excellent season with the Tigers, averaging 20.9 points, on 50.9% shooting, along with 6.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.

Flau'Jae Johnson's mom, Kia wants LSU star to finish college before joining WNBA

Flau'Jae Johnson has established herself as one of the biggest names in college women's basketball. She has led LSU to a perfect 14-0 record this season.

It's not surprising that the star guard is considering going pro even before finishing college. In a conversation with her mother on her "Best of Both Worlds with Flau’jae" podcast on July 11, Johnson shared that she would leave college for the WNBA if she gets picked No. 1 overall.

While acknowledging her daughter's exceptional talent on the court, Brooks revealed her desire for Johnson to finish college before going pro.

"Well, the WNBA has been looking a little rough," Brooks said (39:58). " I want you to go ahead and get your weight up, everything. I want you to get, I feel like you're good. But those are women out there. And I want you to be all the way a full-fledged woman before you go out there."

Johnson insisted that she wanted to play against the best of the best, and her mother said that she needed to be stronger mentally so her transition to the pros would go smoothly.
