The mother of LSU guard Flau'jae Johnson, Kia Brooks, has turned into one of the biggest admirers of Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels. The rookie play-caller has achieved what legendary QBs Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Peyton Manning and Patrick Mahomes failed to accomplish in their careers.

An Instagram post by The Sporting News on Jan. 13 credited a tweet of CBS Sports researcher and writer Doug Clawson on X, which said the rookie Daniels led the Commanders to three games where they committed zero punts and zero turnovers, including playoffs.

Clawson continued that it was more than the combined careers of NFL greats Tom Brady, Joe Montana and Patrick Mahomes (two).

Flau'jae Johnson's mother reposted the stat on her Instagram stories with a capturing it on X. Brooks also wrote a caption that reads:

"It's simple he's a winner !!"

Kia Brooks would likely cheer on Daniels on his route to Super Bowl LIX as the Washington Commanders face the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC championship game on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

The winner of the Commanders-Eagles clash will be the NFC's representative to the Super Bowl and will meet the winner of the AFC championship showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills, scheduled on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Kia Brooks' daughter, Flau'jae Johnson, continues to shine for the LSU Tigers

Kia Brooks' daughter, Flau'jae Johnson, continues her excellent 2024-25 women's college basketball season with the LSU Tigers, leading the team in scoring with averages of 20.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.7 steals per game. The 5-foot-10 junior guard out of Savannah, Georgia, is shooting 49.2% and 79.8% from free throws.

Johnson is part of the Lady Tigers' big three, and together with Aneesah Morrow and Mikaylah Williams, they are 20-0 and 5-0 in the Southeastern Conference. In her latest outing against Florida, the basketball player cum rap artist finished with 19 points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals.

Flau'jae Johnson hopes to help her team keep its unbeaten record intact as it faces No. 2-ranked South Carolina in a marquee matchup between two of the top teams in the nation. The guard also looks to end her three-game losing skid against the Gamecocks (18-1, 6-0 SEC) as she hasn't won against the Dawn Staley-coached squad during her first two seasons with the Lady Tigers.

Tipoff is scheduled on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina, with the winner taking the lead and creating separation in the SEC standings.
